IEM

Project Support

Current Project

At the present time an urgent need is to help the Food Aid Project. See this link.

We usually seek to raise money for a special project. Following consultation with the IEM General Secretary, our present project, started in 2017, will be to raise money for the building of a new hostel for boys and girls at Doimukh, Arunachal Pradesh. The total cost of the building is likely to be about £90,000.

There are three ways in which you can give towards this project.

1. A one-off donation, however large or small (gift-aiding, if possible, would increase its value).

2. A regular gift, however large or small (gift-aided, if possible).

3. A bequest in your will.

If you would like to give towards this project, please contact our treasurer by clicking here. All contributions, large or small, would be gratefully appreciated.

Past Projects

During 2014 to 2017 we sent over £38,000 to India for the "Young at Heart Fund". This fund is used to give some income for retired missionaries who in India normally have to rely on friends and family for support.

During 2012 to 2014 we raised over £11,000 for the purchase of a new vehicle for use at the IEM headquarters in Bangalore.

During 2010 to 2012 we raised almost £20,000 towards the building of a new 'Jeevan Jyothi' girl's hostel in Elathagiri near Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu and this has made a significant contribution to this important IEM project. The hostel is now in use and is enabling a number of tribal girls to attend school.

During 2007 to 2010 we raised money towards the rebuilding and equipping of a girl's hostel in Morampalli Banjar in the Koya field, Andhra Pradesh.

During 2002 to 2007 we raised money to enable Indian congregations in the Chinoor area to build churches.

During 2001 to 2002 we raised money for 7 motorbikes so that missionaries were easily able to travel to remote villages.
